A number of sources have informed In Tha Know Yo that a Girlfriends movie is in the works. One source claims that two scripts are being written just in case Jill Marie Jones reprises her role as Toni Childs. Another source adds that the script(s) should be ready any day. We are hearing that if all ladies sign on to the film production can begin as soon as January depending on scheduling. I hope everything goes well with this project because Girlfriends was a very positive show and portrayed professional balk women. Ladies get your pens out and sign on the dotted line!
